Elk Skull Pewter Vase, via Ebay
A Monumental 14 inch tall Art Nouveau Pewter vase Designed by Hugo Leven for Kayzerzinn, and dating from around 1900. Of superb Organic form, the vase has three elk skulls embossed around the lower part of the stem, whose elongated stylised antlers stretch upwards to join the vase at the bowl. In good order, with a nice evn colour, the only signs of age being a couple of casting splits in the base (as per photo), these are visible only on close scrutiny.

herbal gin infusion with pineapple sage and lemon verbena (by Linden Tea)
don’t worry, I didn’t let it sit on the windowsill except for the moment it took to take this photo. the rest of the infusing time was spent in a nice cool, dark cupboard.
this was a short infusion; I just strained it tonight after letting it set for about 48 hours. letting it age in the fridge for a bit. still pondering what precisely I am going to do with it. I have ideas.
(props to Ms. Dirty for being a notable influence on my decision to start making witchy booze infusions in the first place!)

bluebells are starting to bloom today! :)
I know my garden looks a little scraggly right now, but considering it was bare dirt when we moved in, it’s rather fabulous in comparison to its earlier state.
