herbal gin infusion with pineapple sage and lemon verbena (by Linden Tea)

don’t worry, I didn’t let it sit on the windowsill except for the moment it took to take this photo. the rest of the infusing time was spent in a nice cool, dark cupboard.

this was a short infusion; I just strained it tonight after letting it set for about 48 hours. letting it age in the fridge for a bit. still pondering what precisely I am going to do with it. I have ideas.

(props to Ms. Dirty for being a notable influence on my decision to start making witchy booze infusions in the first place!)

bluebells are starting to bloom today! :)

I know my garden looks a little scraggly right now, but considering it was bare dirt when we moved in, it’s rather fabulous in comparison to its earlier state.

I feel like I haven’t been posting up to my usual caliber in the last few days. Sorry. I just worked six days in a row (I think I mentioned that on one of those last reblogs) and my brain is pretty broken from the stress and sudden realization that in the past week I have only had one or two nights where I’ve slept more than 4-5 hours. Also: rum.

Anyhow, here, have a photoset of the dinner I made from scratch tonight. It’s whole wheat spaghetti, tofu w/ onion & yellow bell pepper stir-fried with marinara sauce, and asparagus spears & kale in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I know, I know, I kind of hate kale too, but I’m trying to force myself to eat it because of its nutritional value. I’m not going to go around proselytizing about how kale will save the world, I promise.

I think I need to go to sleep for three days straight. But I bet I’ll go to bed tonight, and wake up early tomorrow morning because anxiety won’t let me stay asleep.

cobalt blue seaglass wirewrapped pendant // Deep Blue Sea by LindenTea

reblogging myself from my shop blog because nobody follows it, haha
anyhow, I just (re)listed a crapload of wirewrapped pendants! many of them are beach glass and other wave-polished things I picked up. they were part of a stash that I had tried to sell at a local witchy shop in Boston but only one ammonite pendant had sold.
